Buy your licence.
Choose Designer or Studio. After payment is confirmed, your purchase email brings the download link and instructions to claim your licence.

Activate in Pressavia.
In the planned activation screen, enter your licence email and personal key. Confirm the email code to register this new computer.

Use your two computer slots for your desktop and laptop. Moving machines? Free a slot from your licence page, then activate the new one.

The proposed Designer licence covers one person on two computers. Studio includes three named users, each with their own key and two computer slots.
An internet connection is planned for activation and at least once every 30 days. PDF checking and repairs stay on your computer. Renewing product updates is optional; the licence check is separate from the update period.

A little clarity before you start.
How will I receive my licence?
The planned flow sends a claim link to your purchase email after payment is verified. Designer gets a personal key. With Studio, the owner assigns three named seats; each person receives their own key. Delivery and activation are not live yet.
What if I replace my computer or lose my key?
The planned licence page lets you remove an old computer and recover access through your verified email. If a computer breaks, you will not need to open it to free its slot. Recovery and device transfers will be available when the licence service launches.
Will I need to stay online?
The proposed policy needs internet for first activation and a licence check at least every 30 days. PDF processing remains local. The app should warn before the offline period ends and allow an in-progress save to finish.
Will my app stop when the included updates end?
No. The proposed one-time licence keeps versions released during your included update period eligible. Buying another year of updates is optional. Device activation and periodic licence checks still apply.
Will it make every PDF ready for every printer?
No. It checks and repairs supported conditions, then explains what still needs review. Your printer’s specifications and final proof remain the reference. Full PDF/X certification and every advanced transparency effect are outside the first release.
Does the PDF leave my computer?
PDF checking, previewing and repairs run locally in the Windows app. The site does not accept PDF uploads. Future purchase and activation services will use account/licence data, not your artwork; their details must be confirmed in the launch privacy notice.
Can it fix low-resolution images or replace missing fonts?
It can identify low-resolution images, but cannot restore detail that is not there. Font embedding needs an eligible matching font file; it does not guess a replacement.
What happens to my original PDF?
Repairs are previewed and saved as a corrected copy. The original remains intact. Always inspect the corrected file and its remaining findings before sending it.
Do I need Adobe Acrobat Pro?
No. Open, preview, check and repair supported PDFs directly in the app. It runs on its own, so you do not need Adobe Acrobat Pro or an Acrobat subscription.
Is it available for Mac?
The first release targets Windows. A Mac release and broader operating-system support have not been announced.
Is a CMYK profile included?
No profile is bundled in the current app. The default looks for an installed Coated FOGRA39 profile. You can choose a compatible profile supplied by your printer; conversion is unavailable until one is present.
